Clinical Team Lead Job (RN), Monday-Friday various shifts, Oncology
Clinical Team Lead Roles and Responsibilities:
- In addition to the duties, responsibilities and expectations outlined in the Staff Nurse job description, the Clinical Team Leader is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, organizing, directing and supervising unit activities under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
- Help support and develop new initiatives on Oncology.
- Provide clinical and administrative support structure for the units.
- Engage the staff in quality improvement and guide in staff development and process change.
- Support new and current care programs by participating in unit council and providing continued clinical input.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana
- Bachelor Degree Preferred
- Previous management experience a plus
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, 10 years preferred
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Required self-direction, leadership, delegation and teaching ability
- Communicates tactfully and effectively with physicians, patients, families, nursing staff and other hospital departments and the public.
- Current BLS provider
- Certification in specialty area required or earns within one year of accepting the position.
