About the Role

McKesson's Oncology & Specialty Technology team is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst - FCS to support and optimize critical healthcare technology platforms used across oncology practices. This role serves as a subject matter expert for clinical applications, healthcare workflows, system integrations, and technology modernization initiatives. The position partners closely with clinicians, operational leaders, vendors, and technical teams to improve patient care delivery, operational efficiency, and user adoption through technology-enabled solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for clinical and operational healthcare applications.
  • Analyze clinical workflows, gather business requirements, and translate needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Lead application implementation, upgrade, optimization, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, business leaders, and vendors to improve system performance and usability.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, deployment, training, and go-live activities for new solutions.
  • Monitor application health, data quality, and integration performance while troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement, change management, and digital transformation efforts across healthcare operations.


Basic Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience supporting, implementing, optimizing, or administering healthcare applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting clinical applications, EHR/EMR platforms, laboratory systems, pharmacy systems, practice management systems, revenue cycle applications, or related healthcare technologies.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and documenting current- and future-state clinical workflows.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex application and system issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead moderately complex technology implementations or enhancement projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Oncology healthcare experience.
  • Experience with Orchard Harvest, Epic, iKnowMed (iKM), or similar healthcare platforms.
  • Experience leading system optimization, modernization, migration, or integration initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting revenue cycle workflows (IDX) and healthcare operations.
  • Experience with change management, training, and user adoption programs.
  • Experience participating in digital transformation and healthcare technology strategy initiatives.


Travel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Position may require occasional travel for implementation, go-live, training, or stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment while effectively supporting distributed clinical and operational teams.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual meetings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, clinicians, and business stakeholders.
