SCHEDULE: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift, Flexible from 7am - 6pm
POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Supply & Analysis Manager works in conjunction with SGMC Health Materials Management teams and leaders to establish work plan goals and objectives necessary to meet the approved system savings targets. The Clinical Supply & Analysis Manager assists in the identification, selection and prioritization of system-wide Materials Management opportunities as they relate to Supply Chain standardization, utilization, and implementation. Responsibilities include: facilitating and leading the Value Analysis (VA) team to most effectively manage system projects; leading the facility CQVA committee meetings ensuring all policies are followed with efficiency, consistency and overall value are maintained; integrating accepted practice changes and assuring that standards of care are achieved when standardization opportunities are implemented; leading activities with VendorMate (vendor credentialing) compliance and management, coordinating supply and equipment recall management, and managing the RepScrubs program. The Clinical Supply & Analysis Manager works closely with purchasing staff to evaluate contracts, recommending updates and ensuring proper adoption; meets with vendors and SGMC Health department leaders to evaluate new and existing products to ensure replacement products are ordered or removed as needed; and works with internal (SGMC Health) and external (vendor) data analysis reports to assure a high percentage of PO pricing accuracy. The Clinical Supply & Analysis Manager is also responsible for preparing and distributing communication, including a periodic supply information summary, to all clinical areas.
EDUCATION
- Active clinical license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia required. Other relevant clinical licensure may be accepted in lieu of RN license at the discretion of the department director.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five (5) years of hospital-based experience, preferably in a materials management role such as inventory management, inventory reconciliation, and/or new product acquisition.
- Experience with Pyxis and Omnicell supply cabinet systems
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) knowledge - Premier, Infor or similar preferred.
- Position requires demonstrated analytical experience and strong personal computer, project management, leadership, problem-solving, and team building skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in organizational change, quality management, communication and impeccable organization skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION
Business setting, indoors, with the possibility of periodic extended hours. Ability to assess problems and utilize innovation and critical thinking skills. Ability to function autonomously in a high stress environment and make decisions in an abbreviated time frame. Will be required to lift up to fifty (50) lbs, and may have long periods of walking, standing, and sitting. Must be able to bend, twist, reach, stoop, push and pull throughout work day.
