Overview

The Clinical Supervisor / Program Manager supports the delivery of high-quality clinical services across assigned school sites by providing supervision, ensuring compliance, and guiding program implementation. This role partners closely with the Leadership Team to support staff performance, maintain strong school relationships, and ensure services are consistent, ethical, and responsive to student needs. Supervision and team support are grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and a focus on growth.

Clinical Supervision & Staff Support
  • Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff, supporting sound clinical decision-making and adherence to ethical, legal, and documentation standards.
  • Conduct weekly supervision sessions (individual, triadic, and/or group) in alignment with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements.
  • Complete required BBS evaluations and maintain appropriate supervision documentation.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching through regular meetings with supervisees.
  • Offer crisis consultation and clinical guidance as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss supervision themes, clinical concerns, and staff support needs.


Program Oversight & Site Support
  • Support implementation of programs in collaboration with Leadership Team.
  • Communicate site expectations and ensure alignment between clinicians and school partners.
  • Attend initial site visits and facilitate introductions with school and district partners.
  • Observe clinical services and provide feedback to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing response plans for urgent situations, including campus-based crises or closures.
  • Facilitate cohort or team meetings in collaboration with Leadership Team.
  • Travel regularly between assigned school sites to provide in-person support, as needed.
  • Provide strategic oversight for the implementation of the LIFE program, ensuring high-quality service delivery and alignment with organizational standards.


Organizational Support & Compliance
  • Maintain familiarity with and ensure compliance with contractual obligations across assigned sites.
  • Attend and contribute to site and district meetings; deliver presentations as needed.
  • Review student feedback (W.H.Y.) and impact data to guide team support and program improvements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate staff trainings and professional development, including annual required trainings (e.g., safety, clinical, documentation).
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to identify and implement additional training based on staff needs.
  • Support with interviewing, candidate selection, and onboarding for new hires in collaboration with the Leadership Team
  • Communicate regularly with the Leadership Team regarding staff performance, site needs, and support planning.


Quality Assurance & Performance Management
  • Conduct documentation audits in accordance with organizational policies and timelines across platforms (e.g., EHRs, eMend).
  • Provide clinical input into program development and contract implementation.
  • Complete performance evaluations for supervisees and support performance improvement processes when needed.
  • Partner with the Clinical Director on written warnings and performance improvement plans.
  • Serve as a point of contact for parent/guardian concerns, responding and escalating as appropriate.


Direct Service (as needed)
  • Provide direct mental health services in alignment with organizational programs and service model to support continuity of care, as needed.


Additional Notes
  • This role requires strong collaboration across teams, comfort navigating school-based environments, and the ability to balance clinical oversight with program implementation.
  • Familiarity with documentation systems (e.g., EHR platforms, internal referral systems, CYBHI fee schedule)
