Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • 3 years of clinical experience with 1 year in specialty or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with 2 years of clinical experience including 1 year in specialty.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Georgia or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) license.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
  • Visual color acuity specific to unit requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing operations within the unit.
  • Assume 24-hour nursing responsibility in the absence of the Manager or Director.
  • Collaborate with unit leadership to enhance patient care.
  • Work directly with a unit-specific patient population.
  • Participate in team decision-making and planning.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.  Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

  • Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
  • Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

    •  

    PREFERRED:

  • Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
    • Work Hours:0730AM-1600PM
