Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Infusion Manager, the Infusion Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and directing Infusion services which may involve one or several locations. Schedules work, tracks productivity and quality outcomes, and addresses issues with staff and patients. This person is a member of the Duly management team with first-line responsibility for hiring, orientation, appraisal, and coaching, disciplining, and training staff. The Infusion Supervisor ensures work is accomplished in accordance with Duly policies. The Infusion Supervisor seeks opportunities to improve the overall operations of the department and reach both department and organizational goals.

• Develop, implement, and administer department activities to ensure quality, efficiency, access, work safety and a positive patient experience.
• Support Infusion human resource objectives by;
  • Participation in the hiring process, orientation and training.
  • Coordination of staffing resources and schedules
  • Communication of job expectations
  • Review and approve timecards and staff time off requests
  • Coaching and counseling
  • Completion of performance appraisals
• Communication with Duly physicians and leadership about services and technology updates.
• Maintain department files and records according to Duly's guidelines.
• Participation/attendance in monthly department meetings.
• Provide educational and developmental opportunities for staff.
• Provide ongoing training to staff to ensure productivity and knowledge of processes.
• Challenge and motivate staff so they can be utilized to their fullest potential and achieve desired results.
• Oversight of the competency of staff in appropriate positions.
• Support acquisitions and new site development and start up.
• Plans for acquisition, alignment, and engagement of human resources through selection, on-boarding, coaching, appraisal and development.
• Seeks to create an environment with emphasis on teamwork in accomplishing the mission and goals of the Department and Duly.
• Appropriately seeks guidance in assistance with human resource concerns.
• Support clinical programs and student development.
• Maintaining an environment that will provide the best patient care
• Assuring that staff behaviors are aligned to meet areas for improvement identified through patient feedback and interdepartmental input

Experience and Qualifications

• B.A. in Nursing
• Must be OCN certified.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPPA and employment legislation.
• Prefer a minimum of five years experience as an Infusion Nurse with two years of managerial experience.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of 79,[redacted]84, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
