This position is located in the Social Services Department of the Veterans Home of California - West Los Angeles and is responsible for assisting residents in adjusting to communal l iving to achieve productive social transition; addressing various social needs to achieve more adequate, satisfying, and productive social adjustments.
Effective July 1, 2025, California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). PLP 2025 directs that state employees shall receive a three percent (3%) reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits, monthly.
