The
Clinical Resource Specialist RN is responsible for providing support and expertise to field clinical partners to ensure delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality resident care. The Clinical Resource RN will work closely with the Clinical Market Leader to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and initiatives within the Market.
Job DutiesDaily:- Provide support and guidance to Wellness Leaders, including nurses and other healthcare professionals, throughout the Market.
- Monitor resident care activities and ensure compliance with established guidelines and standards.
- Assist with the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource for clinical staff, providing education and training as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to address clinical issues and improve resident outcomes.
Weekly:- Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation and practices to identify areas for improvement, including but not limited to reviewing KPI/metrics, enhancing medication/pharmacy management programs, and care delivery standards.
- Participate in cluster meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
- Provide feedback and coaching to clinical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Market Leader to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
Monthly:- Analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of clinical programs and initiatives.
- Develop and present reports to the Clinical Market Leader and other stakeholders on the progress and outcomes of clinical initiatives (e.g., support CCA, action plans for deep dive findings, collaborate on a robust med tech & caregiver training)
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new clinical staff. Ensure orientation checklist is completed in a timely manner
Ongoing Responsibilities:- Support implementation of new and existing programs within the market or globally (boot camp, software integration, programming models, etc.).
- Maintain professional and healthy relationships with all stakeholders (employees, residents, families, 3rd-party providers, etc.).
- Be able to respond remotely or on-site to changing priorities based on market/company needs.
- Review and leverage data of quarterly outcomes for performance improvement opportunities.
- Support assigned market with med. tech training and ongoing DELEGATION needs in compliance with medication rules 26 TAC 553.261 & 22 TAC 225.12.
- Follow documentation, assessment, and monitoring rules outlined in the TX BON regulations 22 TAC 225.6
- Must have a strong knowledge of medication aide program requirements under 26 TAC 557 to support communities hiring certified med aides.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:- Frequent overnight travel (60% or more) throughout Texas
- Must possess an active, unencumbered RN license in the State where they operate.
- Must be a good steward in representing the company's mission, vision, and CAPLICO values.
- Possesses a strong understanding of medication management services, coordination of resident care programs, staff competency training requirements, life safety standards, regulatory/state-survey guidelines, and other assisted living operations, supported by verifiable experience in the field.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
