Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Psychologists are valued members of multi-disciplinary teams providing evaluation and treatment services for people facing illness or injury resulting in disabilities. This Clinical Rehab Psychologist will support the outpatient brain injury and concussion programs as well as the PM&R inpatient rehabilitation unit. Services include psychological and neuropsychological evaluation, individual psychotherapy, family support and education and team consultation. Psychologists also participate in administrative, educational, and research activities associated with the PM&R department, including our developing fellowship programs, and collaborate with related departments across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD or PsyD in Psychology and NYS license or eligible required. Excellent written/oral skills and experience in rehabilitation and/or brain injury preferred. If not currently licensed, must receive license within 1 year of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in rehabilitation and/or brain injury preferred.
