Job Description:

Discharges patients based on achievement of maximum benefit or in accordance with professional standards and payer guidelines. Documents and charges services accurately, completely, and promptly using objective, measurable terminology aligned with clinical standards and organizational policies. Identifies and delivers patient and caregiver education through both planned and spontaneous opportunities, documenting understanding as appropriate. Participates in performance improvement initiatives and supports departmental quality standards and practice changes. Meets defined productivity standards through effective time management and clinical efficiency. Applies age-specific knowledge to assess and modify care approaches based on developmental and physiological norms across all patient age groups. Adjusts work hours and location as needed to accommodate changes in patient census and support other programs as directed by leadership. Practices safety principles consistently to protect both patients and staff during daily activities. Complies with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational compliance policies. Assists in promoting physical therapy services within the organization and the broader community when required. Fosters professional growth, teamwork, and clinical excellence through evidence-based practice and engages in collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, and clinical practice education within a peer group Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques to develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans with appropriate goals, activities, and frequency. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
