Full Job Description
Job Summary: The Licensed Psychologist fulfills objectives within the mission of the Golisano Center for Special Needs (GCSN). Including inpatient and outpatient case management of children with behavior disorders and/or feeding dysfunction who have comorbid developmental disabilities, and staff training. Case management includes: consulting and creating treatment plans for Golisano Children's Hospital behavioral cases; seeing and billing for patients at GCSN; parent training; conducting progress meetings; participating in daily rounds; case documentation; data storage; and maintaining patient confidentiality. Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in psychology from a regionally accredited university with one year clinical internship in psychology specializing in pediatric behavior disorders or two years equivalent experience with relevant patient population. Licensed or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of New York is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in child psychology and/or behavior analysis as demonstrated by publications in journals, presentations at national conferences, research grants, etc.
Work Days:
Monday - Friday daytime hours
