Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Clinical Projects and Performance Manager provides essential support to capital construction and renovation projects while assisting with performance monitoring across clinical engineering and facilities-related initiatives at UAMS Health. This role serves as a key supporting liaison between clinical operations, construction teams, and the Engineering & Operations department to help ensure that new and renovated clinical spaces are properly designed, equipped, and transitioned to support safe and efficient patient care.
Working under the direction of the Director of Clinical Engineering & Medical Assets / Clinical Operations Liaison for Capital Construction, this role contributes to project coordination, gathers clinical input, tracks project performance, and helps facilitate the successful integration of medical equipment into clinical environments. This support role combines project coordination skills with data tracking and analysis to assist in delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards while supporting continuous improvement efforts across clinical projects.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's plus 4 years' project or program management experience, PMP Certification Preferred
Preferred:
- 3 + years of experience in healthcare project coordination, clinical operations support, capital construction assistance, or clinical engineering support roles.
- Familiarity with healthcare facility projects, medical equipment integration, and regulatory standards (Joint Commission preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and data-tracking skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and support multiple projects simultaneously.
