Job Description

Clinical Program Specialist, Sleep & Respiratory Care

The Clinical Program Specialist supports daily clinical program operations, helps keep projects on track, and contributes to key documentation, data review, recordkeeping, and stakeholder communication under limited supervision. The role also resolves issues, identifies process improvements, ensures compliance and data quality, supports program/vendor management, and coordinates across cross-functional teams including IT, Clinical/Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Procurement, and Finance.

Your role:

  • Plan, coordinate, and support clinical programs and activities within the assigned clinical discipline.
  • Help develop and implement Clinical & Medical Affairs processes aligned with business needs and strategy.
  • Coordinate change requests, submissions, and stakeholder communication to support smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with global teams on project management, business analysis, solution validation, and data harmonization.
  • Identify process improvements, maintain compliance and training readiness, and support a collaborative team environment.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of related experience in project/program management for a site/sponsor or both (preferred), involving clinical research (preferred). Program management experience within medical device, pharma, biotech, or diagnostics industries required.
  • Your skills include strong influencing skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders, strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously, and strong presentation skills to share important strategic information with varied stakeholder groups. PMP certification preferred not required. Lean certifications (Green belt, black belt, etc.) nice to have but not required. Awareness of lean concepts and how to deploy them is preferred.
  • You have a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .
  • You’re an excellent communicator, with an ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders utilizing your communication skills.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office-based role.

The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is  $102,000 to $162,000.

The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $107,000 to $170,000.

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is  $114,000 to $182,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found . 

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
