Job DescriptionThe Program Mgr (RN) is responsible for creating, operationalizing and managing the Structural Heart program, to include all phases of the patient care pathway and navigation experience, at Providence Regional Medical Center (PRMCE). The Program Manager will optimize patient, staff and physician satisfaction with these programs and ensure they become regional benchmarks. They will develop these programs to increase patient volumes with a positive payer mix while providing a benchmark quality of care delivery within PRMCE. The Program Manager collaborates with other functional managers within PRMCE that have operational impact on the Structural Heart Program. The top priority of this position will be to stand up, operationalize and maintain a regional benchmark within the Providence system. In addition to the normal priorities of establishing a program (payer contracting, equipment/supply needs, vendor relations, staff coordination, etc.), with support from CVL/Nurse Manager and Periop and Interventional Director, this position also includes responsibility for all phases of the patient care pathway with direct responsibility for the overall patient experience (e.g. selection, education/pre-hab to include functional assessment, scheduling, day of surgery, post-surgery car (up to 30 days post procedure) and post-discharge physical therapy coordination). This will also include developing and maintaining same day discharge for qualifying patinet selection. As the program becomes formally established and as time allows while establishing this program, this individual's additional time will focus on optimizing already established programs (both outpatient & inpatient) at PRMCE. They will review the entire patient care pathway and work to optimize the entire value proposition of these programs with an emphasis on overall patient experience, digital innovation (e.g. post-surgery Telehealth visits) and growing market share in all these facilities.
Required qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
- Operational experience practicing in both outpatient and inpatient Structural Heart Program patient care, with preference towards current experience in interventional Heart.
- Experienced in conflict resolution.
- History of working independently, with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with physician practice operations.
- History of working as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
- Experience as a leader for project team.
- Experience in a team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
