Pay Range: $67.32 - $100.98 per hour

Summary:
The clinical pharmacist coordinator will be focused on supporting the successful growth and implementation of system ambulatory pharmacy clinical and distributive services. The coordinator position is a leadership role that will work with other pharmacy, medical, nursing, and system operational staff on projects related to pharmaceutical care in the ambulatory care setting. The position is intended to provide professional and leadership development opportunities while maintaining a role in clinical practice.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and facilitate monthly committee meetings by participating in planning pre-meetings, obtaining and distributing items for review for upcoming meetings, and utilize meeting transcription to distribute meeting minutes. This may include working with a pharmacy resident on the committee to complete these tasks.
- Engage with stakeholders across the system on projects related to medication use and medication specific workflow across the system to enable collaboration. This may include sitting on other RMG or RUSH committees.
- Support ambulatory formulary requests and monograph development for clinic administered medication through partnership with other department leaders.
- Support the development of future clinical service lines within the ambulatory space (e.g. guideline development creation and coaching of other staff).
- Assist with coordinating the review system for ambulatory RMG policies and standing orders that are focused on medication management and/or administration.
- Serve as a leader in the development and sustained success of an ambulatory care residency program and student intern ambulatory programing.
- Take the lead on researching and developing material necessary to start a new residency program.
- Serve in leadership roles for residency program and coordinate recruitment as needed.
- Work with clinical manager to develop robust pharmacy intern program by taking an active role in coaching and developing workflows that are sustainable for systems needs.
- Partner with other leaders to create an ambulatory credentialing process and professional career advancement programs and assist with maintenance and upkeep of process.
- Participate in leadership development initiatives at department and system level.
- Perform other duties/tasks as need to support advancement of ambulatory pharmacy practice.

Required Job Qualifications:
- PGY-1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience (minimally 3 years)
- Eligible for and achievement of Board Certification within 2 years of hire
- License-Pharmacist-March 31 (even yr)
