Responsibilities
- Provides for foundational pharmacy services, including medication order verification, dispensing oversight, drug information support, and basic patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services.
- Reviews the accuracy and appropriateness of medications prepared and dispensed by pharmacy personnel.
- Serves as a drug information resource to physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital personnel.
- Supports safe, accurate, and efficient medication use throughout the hospital.
QualificationsEducation
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- RPH - Registered Pharmacist with valid State of California Pharmacist License required
