About the RoleOversee all functions of various sites of the practice, including front and back office as well as provider activity, make recommendations for improvement and implement change as necessary.
What You'll Be Doing- Direct and supervise staff at assigned site locations.
- Analyze requisitions, purchases, and other business information.
- Assist Human Resources with recruitment to ensure adequate staffing.
- Evaluates performance of personnel and completes evaluations in accordance with the
- Employee Handbook.
- Adjusts schedules as needed during personnel absences; monitors attendance.
- Prepares daily, weekly and monthly assignments in accordance with the policies and procedures of Urology of Indiana.
- Develop and maintain protocols for all office functions performed in site locations.
- Review weekly time records of office staff; monitor overtime.
- Serves as a resource to all members of departments and ancillary sites as needed.
- Serves as a liaison between physicians and other clinical operations managers to facilitate and resolve daily operational needs.
- Advise the Chief Operating Officer of any potential concerns/problems at any of the site locations of the practice.
- Maintain positive and professional attitude with all internal and external customers.
- Manage physician templates, schedules and staffing needs.
- Support provider on-call and after hour needs as they arise.
- Act as liaison between hospitals, surgery centers and other clinical/non-clinical facilities and partners and supporting patient, provider and Administration needs.
- Serve in various capacities on strategic planning teams and committees.
- Assist in scheduling medical students and residents to shadow with physicians as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

What We Expect from You- Formal training in a clinical or medical discipline.
- Five plus years' experience in the medical/clinical/hospital setting; previous management or leadership experience preferred.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before individuals or groups of people.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate basic figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer software.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, approximately 8 hours per workday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
