As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.To be successful in this role, you will combine robust clinical knowledge and technological proficiency with genuine compassion, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to learning and patient-centered care.
- Meets annual competency requirement prior to evaluation date.
- Adheres to established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, Quality Improvement Program, legal, safety, environmental, infection control standards and patient bill of rights.
- Serves as a behavioral role model of nursing practice and clinical expert resource to nursing staff in the provision of care to patients.
- Contributes to the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care outcomes resulting in continuous quality improvement while maximizing resources.
- Promotes continuity of care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patient, family and all significant others.
- Conforms to legal requirements of nursing practice and hospital policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
Required
- Masters Of Nursing Three (3) years of experience in health care field, including significant experience with clinical nursing and education in a critical care setting
- Registered Nurse: CA
- Clinical Nurse Specialist in NICU
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- BLS American Heart Associate
