Nurse (RN) at the Waltham, Boston IVFlocation
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
*2 weekend shift a month requirement, with 3 holidays per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide primary nursing care to patients undergoing advanced reproductive technology (ART) and ovulation induction (O.I.).
Work in conjunction with other nurses, medical assistants, advanced practice providers, physicians, laboratory personnel, O.R./PACU staff, administrative assistants and receptionists to ensure the smooth daily flow of the clinical practice.
Job Requirements and Skills:- Minimum two years of nursing experience required
- Women's health experience strongly preferred
- Infertility practice background a strong plus
- Nursing Diploma and current MA license required
Experience:- Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Women's Health or Infertility: 1 year (Preferred)
- Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
- BLS and/or ACLS certification - preferred
- Experience
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience - preferred
- Prior experience in women's health or fertility - preferred
- Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
