Clinical Liaison Rehabilitation at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. This role coordinates patient referral and admissions for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit in collaboration with the attending physiatrist. Works collaboratively with inter-disciplinary teams, both internal and external to the organization, to improve patient care through effective utilization and monitoring of healthcare resources and assumes a leadership role to achieve desired clinical, financial, and resource outcomes. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Or • Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Or • Associate's Degree Registered Nurse • Upon hire: California Physical Therapist License Or • Upon hire: California Occupational Therapist License Or • Upon hire: California Speech Language Pathologist License Or • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License • 3 years Clinical experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Admissions Coordinator experience. • Experience with long term care regulations, Medicare guidelines, and Rehabilitation regulations.
