Full Job Description
Clinical Liaison Rehabilitation at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. This role coordinates patient referral and admissions for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit in collaboration with the attending physiatrist. Works collaboratively with inter-disciplinary teams, both internal and external to the organization, to improve patient care through effective utilization and monitoring of healthcare resources and assumes a leadership role to achieve desired clinical, financial, and resource outcomes. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Or • Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Or • Associate's Degree Registered Nurse • Upon hire: California Physical Therapist License Or • Upon hire: California Occupational Therapist License Or • Upon hire: California Speech Language Pathologist License Or • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License • 3 years Clinical experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Admissions Coordinator experience. • Experience with long term care regulations, Medicare guidelines, and Rehabilitation regulations. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
