In Your Day-to-Day, You Will - Lead, mentor, and support a team of RVTs and Veterinary Assistants within the Surgery department.
- Foster excellence in patient care, workflow efficiency, and team communication.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to support team development.
- Assist with anesthesia, diagnostics, treatments, and advanced surgical nursing care.
- Collaborate closely with board-certified surgeons, anesthesiologists, and cross-functional specialty teams.
- Help create a positive, collaborative, and team-focused hospital culture.
What You Bring - 5+ years of recent veterinary clinical experience.
- Active California RVT license preferred.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, CRIs, drug calculations, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
