Performs all laboratory testing and related duties within the assigned sections and provides accurate and timely results. Adheres to the assigned department's standard operating procedure, quality assurance policy, regulatory compliance, and hospital policies. Provides guidance and oversight for department laboratory assistants, including but not limited to conducting training and competency.

Required ExperienceRequired:- Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (CLS) or National Medical Technologist license (MT, ASCP) or MTE-Microbiology
Preferred:- Eighteen (18) months previous CLS experience in an acute care hospital
