Responsibilities

The Clinical Medical Imaging Informaticist supports the daily operation and optimization of RIS/Radiant, PACS, imaging modalities, and related clinical workflows. This role provides technical support, troubleshooting, training, workflow improvement, and quality assurance while collaborating with Radiologists, Medical Imaging staff, IT, leadership, and vendors. The position supports system implementations, upgrades, data integrity, DICOM digital image data workflows, and compliance requirements while helping develop effective processes, standards, and training programs to ensure reliable and efficient medical imaging services.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated knowledge of medical imaging modalities, radiology information systems, technology applications, and clinical workflows, along with strong communication, analytical, training, and problem-solving skills. The candidate should be able to provide effective technical support, collaborate professionally with diverse teams, and adapt to evolving healthcare technology and operational needs.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Associate’s Degree in a related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 4 years of related experience in radiology operations in an acute hospital setting required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
