Full Job Description

Bring your clinical expertise into the operating room and make a real impact on patient outcomes. As a Tendon Seam Field Clinical Specialist, you will be at the forefront of advanced soft tissue fixation, partnering with experienced surgeons and commercial teams to support best in class arthroscopic rotator cuff repair across the US field.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting surgical cases using the Soft Tissue Fixation System and acting as a subject matter expert in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair
  • Working closely with Tendon Seam Account Managers to plan, coordinate and deliver case support across targeted geographies
  • Proactively organizing support schedules to align with case volumes and business priorities
  • Collecting, compiling and communicating case data to support clinical and commercial insights
  • Managing inventory within the assigned territory and ensuring product availability
  • Executing billing processes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Attending and participating in required Tendon Seam training and development sessions
  • Representing Smith+Nephew professionally across a variety of markets and customer settings

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a background in clinical, biological science or business preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the medical device industry
  • Strong knowledge of products, clinical pathways, surgical procedures and the competitive landscape
  • Commercial selling skills with solid business acumen

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $67,000 - $100,000USD annually (or hourly) The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. In addition to base pay, we provide competitive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, parental leave, and generous PTO, paid company holidays annually and 8 hours of Volunteer time and a variety of wellness offerings such as EAP.
