About the role

Training and education are critical to the success of LifeFlow and our customers. The Clinical Education Specialist (CES) has primary responsibility for educating LifeFlow users, potential users, employees and partners. In the course of education, the positive relationships that the CES develops with providers will also play a key role in standardizing and expanding LifeFlow use. Training will require significant travel and cover multiple shifts, including some nights and weekends.

What you'll do

  • Conduct LifeFlow training for health care providers (i.e. nurses, physicians and paramedics) at LifeFlow accounts
  • Timely and complete documentation of details related to education, customer interactions and feedback in CRM (for self and 1099's). Keep training record updated on all accounts
  • Work closely with Clinical Sales Specialists to expand LifeFlow awareness, proficiency and utilization in targeted accounts
  • Provide feedback and input on the LifeFlow education strategy, materials (including protocols) and processes
  • Assist customers in implementing LifeFlow into clinical practice, including incorporation in order sets, protocols and use tracking and evaluation
  • Solicit LifeFlow user input and cases in order to understand LifeFlow uses and feedback and share with 410 team and identify cases for write-up
  • Maintain thorough understanding of LifeFlow-relevant clinical subjects, including through webinars, podcasts, and articles. Share learnings with Company and educate others as requested
  • Conduct LifeFlow training and other LifeFlow related on-boarding for 410 employees, consultants (including 1099 educators) and distributors
  • Identify classes, labs, clinical instructors and simulation centers to get LifeFlow into and educate on device and volume resuscitation
  • Support trade show participation, including planning LifeFlow demos.
  • Expand education and awareness in target accounts by identifying and building relationship with practice influencers across the account

Qualifications

  • RN degree or Paramedic certification
  • 5+ years clinical experience in ED or ICU setting preferred
  • Familiarity with hospital setting and navigating departments and floors
  • Excellent clinical educator. 2+ years clinical education experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills, ability to convey ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop positive relationships with new people
  • Engaging personality and passion for sharing knowledge with others
  • Passionate, positive, collaborative approach to work
  • Strong customer-service work ethic
  • Detail-oriented, including planning and record keeping

Other Requirements:

  • Significant travel involved; weekends and night shifts possible, up to 75% travel
  • Full-time role based in a city that has easily accessible airport exchanges
  • Carry detail bag weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk in numerous hospitals at meetings for 6-10 hours per day
  • Must be able to meet hospital credentialing requirements in order to observe products within a hospital or EMS environment (need all applicable vaccines)
  • Maintain professional and clinical continuing education, licensure and credentials
