Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Garnet Health Medical Center Outpatient Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Program. Provides supervision to clinical staff. Monitors FTE's, staff productivity, and scheduling of staff to ensure coverage. Oversees provision of treatment to patients and medical record documentation. Prepares statistical reports and undertakes other responsibilities consistent with daily functioning of the Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Program. Monitors staff compliance with OASAS, OMH, and DNV regulatory standards.

The range for the role is $93,756-$117,195 salaried.

Qualifications
Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school
Minimum Experience: Three years' experience in Chemical Dependency, minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity
Certification/Registration: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York. Must attend hospital crisis training program within 3 months of hire or transfer and annually thereafter.
Physical Demands: Travel to multiple facilities is required

• Physical Demands: Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks. Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment. Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking. Ability to lift 10 lbs. Must withstand periods of intermittent walking, standing, or sitting.
• Mental Demands: Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, to organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks. Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility. Ability to multi-task. Required detailed attention to work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled. Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations. May be subject to irregular hours including evenings or potentially weekends to participate in operational and community events as necessary. Travel between Family Program, Counseling Services, Pavilion, and Garnet Health Medical Center main campus; travel within the region required for meetings, conferences, etc.
