What You'll Do:As a key member of our Epic Ambulatory team, you will:
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of EpicCare Ambulatory
- Design, build, test, and maintain Epic system components to streamline clinical workflows.
- Partner with clinicians and stakeholders to analyze business needs and create innovative solutions.
- Configure workflows, documentation tools, Smart Tools, OTX, Health Maintenance, Registries, and more.
- Provide technical expertise, training, and ongoing support for end users.
- Collaborate on projects, system enhancements, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient safety.
What You Bring:Education:- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:- 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience.
- Hands-on Epic build experience with EpicCare Ambulatory or OTX (strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with clinical workflows in outpatient settings and EMR system implementations.
- Experience working in hospital or major medical center IT deployments is a plus.
- Knowledge of billing, scheduling, access services, and health maintenance workflows.
Certifications:- EpicCare Ambulatory Certification (required).
Skills & Abilities:- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- In-depth understanding of Epic systems, hospital regulations (HIPAA, TJC), and quality standards.
- Ability to lead meetings, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive change.
- Experience with SAS or statistical software (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex IT concepts into practical clinical applications.
