The Opportunity:

Our client, a growing dental healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Clinic Manager to join their team in Cambridge, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and energetic leader who is passionate about building strong teams, creating exceptional patient experiences, and driving operational excellence within a fast-paced clinical environment.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, providing leadership across staffing, scheduling, patient experience, billing, administration, and financial performance. You will play an important role in developing the team, improving processes, and fostering a positive and accountable workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring an efficient, organized, and patient-focused environment.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve office policies, procedures, and operational processes.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop clinic employees to support strong individual and team performance.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules and timesheets while ensuring appropriate coverage to meet patient and operational needs.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and performance support to employees, fostering a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage the clinic's operating budget while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and financial performance.
  • Oversee dental billing, insurance claims, and related administrative processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and clinic workflows to maximize efficiency and optimize the patient experience.
  • Ensure patients receive professional, welcoming, and responsive service throughout their experience with the clinic.
  • Support front-office operations as required, including patient inquiries, telephone communications, appointment coordination, and administrative activities.
  • Utilize internal and external marketing initiatives to support clinic visibility, patient engagement, and continued growth.
  • Train and support employees in the effective use of clinic management, scheduling, and patient recall systems.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and enhance overall clinic performance.
  • Foster and protect a strong workplace culture focused on teamwork, engagement, patient care, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with organizational leadership and other clinic teams to share best practices and support broader business initiatives.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within a dental clinic environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience, including direct responsibility for supervising, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Strong working knowledge of dental billing, insurance claims, and related administrative processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing clinic or healthcare operations, including staffing, scheduling, workflow, and patient service.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, establish accountability, and create a positive working environment.
  • Confident, energetic, and approachable leadership style with a genuine passion for developing people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, patients, and leadership.
