Qualifications

• Graduate of approved School of Nursing
• Registered as Mid-level Practitioner (NP, PA); current Arkansas License, DEA, CPR (ACLS preferred)
• 5 years acute care nursing with 1 year as Mid-level Practitioner, or 3 years as a Mid-level Practitioner
• Effective communication in English; additional languages preferred
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical assessments across all demographics
• Diagnose diseases and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Collaborate with Physician while recognizing personal limits
• Order, perform, and interpret laboratory and x-ray tests as needed
• Utilize Clinical Assistants and Medical Assistants effectively
• Build relationships with patients, families, and clinic staff
• Participate in staff meetings to resolve clinic issues
• Document assessments and treatment plans accurately and promptly
• Provide or delegate patient education when necessary
• Review and recommend updates for clinic policies and standards
• Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude in the workplace
• Assist Physician with chart completion and comply with safety standards
• Perform other assigned duties as required
