Job Description:

As a Portfolio Manager, you will build meaningful partnerships, guide clients through continued adoption of the product, and identify opportunities for growth and engagement. You will act as a trusted advisor to your clients, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure smooth onboarding, satisfaction, and retention.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strong understanding of Premier's product, features, and value within the construction industry.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication, proactive engagement, and a deep understanding of client needs in order to identify, position, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, ensuring clients are supported, heard, and achieving success, while driving commercial outcomes for both the client and Premier.
  • Partner closely with Implementation, Support, Sales, and Product teams to deliver a seamless client experience and timely issue resolution.
  • Monitor client health, usage, and renewal status using ChurnZero and HubSpot, and leverage Gong insights to prepare for and follow up on key customer conversations.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for client expansion, including license upgrades and feature add-ons, by aligning product value with client business goals and leading the commercial conversation through to close.
  • Track and report on portfolio performance against key KPIs, including expansion targets, retention, adoption (usage), and health scores, and use these insights to drive proactive engagement and risk mitigation.
  • Assist with onboarding and client transition activities to ensure a smooth handoff from implementation to ongoing account management.
  • Contribute to process improvements, client-facing materials, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Support strategic projects and, over time, have the opportunity to mentor team members as the client success team scales.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or relationship management, ideally in the software or SaaS industry.
  • Background in accounting or the construction industry is a strong asset.
  • Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-with a professional, approachable, and empathetic style.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to align client goals with product value.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a balance of relationship focus and business acumen.
  • Experience with Premier Construction Software or other ERP/business/accounting systems is an asset.
  • Proficient in common CRM and customer success tools, ideally including HubSpot, ChurnZero, and Gong is considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
