Client Strategy Executive, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate the complexities of employee benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIESWhat You'll Do / Your ImpactClient Partnership & Service Excellence- Serve as the lead strategic advisor for large and enterprise Employee Benefits clients, guiding benefit strategy, renewal planning, and executive-level discussions
- Build trusted client relationships by aligning benefit programs with organizational goals, workforce needs, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee complex service matters, provide claims advocacy, and ensure a high-quality client experience throughout the lifecycle of the relationship
Operational & Compliance Excellence- Develop and execute benefit strategies by integrating plan design, funding, compliance, population health, carrier, and vendor solutions
- Lead carrier and vendor negotiations while evaluating market alternatives and emerging industry trends
- Coordinate internal resources and subject matter experts to ensure effective execution of client strategies and service commitments
Growth & Retention- Partner with Producers and leadership to drive client retention, cross-selling opportunities, and organic growth within the book of business
- Support finalist presentations, onboarding initiatives, and strategic business development efforts
- Mentor team members and serve as a subject matter expert, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
QUALIFICATIONSWhat You BringRequired- Active Life & Health insurance license
- Significant experience in Employee Benefits consulting, account management, client strategy, or brokerage environments
- Advanced expertise in benefit strategy, plan design, funding arrangements, compliance, renewal planning, and carrier negotiations
- Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently manage complex client relationships and influence senior stakeholders
Preferred- Professional designations such as CEBS, RHU, REBC, GBDS, ChHC, or similar Employee Benefits credentials
- Experience supporting large or enterprise clients with complex funding strategies and multi-year benefit planning
- Experience participating in sales presentations, growth initiatives, and mentoring client service professionals
