Position Overview

Valitana is opening a new office in Plano, Texas, and is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead our Vantage Client Services function in the region. You will be one of the first hires in the Plano office and will play a central part in shaping how the team operates, hires, and serves clients.

In the near term, you will work hands-on with institutional clients, including CLO managers, ABL borrowers, lenders, and other structured finance participants, guiding them through onboarding and implementation of the Vantage platform and serving as a trusted senior point of contact. Over time, you will build and lead a team of client services professionals, establishing the processes, standards, and culture that will define Valitana's client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the onboarding and implementation of new institutional clients onto the Vantage platform, ensuring a smooth, well-managed experience from kickoff through go-live.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact and escalation lead for client relationships, resolving complex questions related to ABL & CLO modeling, private credit, collateralized fund obligations, portfolio management, and structured finance workflows.
  • Build out and manage the Plano Vantage Client Services team over time by recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and mentoring junior client services professionals.
  • Participate in defining the onboarding playbooks, standard operating procedures, and best practices that scale as the team and client base grow.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to represent the client perspective and drive resolution of client needs and product feedback.
  • Participate in the pre-sales process, presenting demonstrations and building out POCs assisting with deal closures.
  • Help establish the operations and culture of Valitana's new Plano office.
  • Monitor client health, drive satisfaction and retention, and identify opportunities to deepen and expand client relationships.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional work experience in finance, financial operations, or financial services, with significant client-facing experience.
  • Familiarity with leverage loan/borrowing base facilities, CLOs, structured finance products, and the client onboarding lifecycle for institutional investors.
  • Ability to comprehend complex financial concepts of structured finance products.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop a team, including hiring, mentoring, and managing direct reports.
  • Comfort operating in a build-from-scratch environment, with the initiative to establish processes and structure where none yet exist.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Resourceful with the ability to work independently as well as a team.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school.
What We Offer

Base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $165,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and an annual performance bonus. Employees in this role will be based out of Valitana's Plano, Texas office, working in the office Monday through Wednesday with the flexibility to work remotely Thursday and Friday.
