Department: UHC: FPBO - Client Services

Job Summary: The Client Services Manager serves as a liaison between the FPBO and their designated practice groups. This position requires a thorough understanding of the groups' practices including the scope of services provided, practice and non-practice providers, as well as office staff. Develops and maintains an ongoing relationship with their respective practice groups through regular meetings, observation and communication. Understands payer issues that affect the billing and collection process and communicates information regarding these activities to the respective practice groups. Communicates practice issues and questions that affect the billing and collection process to the FPBO and brings together the best resources to resolve any issue. Reviews and analyzes respective practice groups' performance through various financial reports to identify trends, issues or concerns and routinely share this analysis with the group leadership. Analyzes financial and practice data and proactively communicate key operating information to the practice groups. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience: Associates degree required. Three years' experience in a practice business office required; health care experience preferred. One additional year of experience accepted in lieu of Associates Degree.

Knowledge and Skills: Able to use a computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.

Licensures and Certifications: Valid Driver's License required a time of hire.
