We are seeking a Client Service Specialist who will primarily focus on transaction request follow-up, the operational set-up of new SMA accounts, and account transition analysis. This individual may also have some relationship management responsibilities. The successful candidate will be considered a problem-solving partner for our clients and our sales team. The need for this hire is driven by the growth of our Canvas platform.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Client Service Specialist?Effectively respond to ad-hoc advisor inquiries.
Facilitate responses to account transition requests.
Accurately onboard new accounts and ensure the appropriate settings are applied.
Provide an excellent advisor experience that encourages them to want to use Canvas more.
Work with colleagues on complex cases.
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
Previous experience working in financial services and/or an asset management firm required.
Experience working for a direct indexing provider in a client service or operational capacity, a plus.
Superior work ethic.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Must have the ability to be pleasantly persistent when needed.
Self‐starter.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Intellectual curiosity.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively problem solve in a timely manner.
Must maintain a strong working relationship with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between USD $95,000 – $125,000 plus discretionary bonus.
