What is the Client Service Specialist responsible for?We are seeking a Client Service Specialist who will primarily focus on transaction request follow-up, the operational set-up of new SMA accounts, and account transition analysis. This individual may also have some relationship management responsibilities. The successful candidate will be considered a problem-solving partner for our clients and our sales team. The need for this hire is driven by the growth of our Canvas platform.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Client Service Specialist?- Effectively respond to ad-hoc advisor inquiries.
- Facilitate responses to account transition requests.
- Accurately onboard new accounts and ensure the appropriate settings are applied.
- Provide an excellent advisor experience that encourages them to want to use Canvas more.
- Work with colleagues on complex cases.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience working in financial services and/or an asset management firm required.
- Experience working for a direct indexing provider in a client service or operational capacity, a plus.
- Superior work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must have the ability to be pleasantly persistent when needed.
- Self-starter.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Intellectual curiosity.

Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between USD $95,000 - $125,000 plus discretionary bonus.
