Job DescriptionThe Operations Manager will lead maintenance teams, manage projects, oversee budgets, and serve as the primary point of contact for client coordination related to facility operations.
Responsibilities- Direct and manage daily facility maintenance and operational activities
- Lead and develop skilled technicians across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance disciplines
- Plan, coordinate, and execute operational and capital improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Monitor and report operational KPIs, maintenance metrics, and financial performance
- Prepare professional reports and presentations for senior leadership and client review
- Manage labor planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and service delivery
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsive service
Qualifications- 3+ years' management experience in maintenance or facility operations
- Maintenance background with working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite required; CMMS experience preferred)
- Experience tracking, documenting, and analyzing operational data
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Prior operations management experience overseeing multi-disciplinary maintenance teams
- Experience supporting 24/7 operations
