Job Description:Top-level technical expert responsible for design and development of a client/server environment. Develops strategy of client/server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development. Sets standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.). Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.
Performance Shall Include:- Providing technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments
- Addressing and resolving complex technical problems relating to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems
- Interfacing with customers, vendors and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements
- Documenting engineering standards, leads in the development of network architecture and engineering designs and changes
- Evaluating current and emerging network technologies, conducts technical assessments and making recommendation to the Chief Engineer
- Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning
Experience- 7+ years related experience
Education- Bachelor's degree in a related area OR Associate's degree in a related area + 2 years' experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
Certifications- IAT Level 2 - within 6 months of the date of hire
Security Clearance- TS/SCI
- Must be able to obtain - TS/SCI with CI poly
Other Requirements- Ability to solve complex problems with many variables
The likely salary range for this position is $129,813 - $165,485. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
