Base + Comm

As a Client Relationship Executive, you will be responsible for the strategic management and growth of a portfolio of Workplace Retirement clients. You will act as a trusted partner to plan sponsors and intermediaries, leveraging your industry expertise and insights to shape plan outcomes, drive engagement, and deliver long-term value.

What you will do
  • Own the relationship strategy for a portfolio of Workplace Retirement clients, aligning service delivery with client objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencing decisions through effective communication and insight
  • Provide guidance on plan design, governance, investments, and regulatory considerations
  • Leverage data and client insights to identify opportunities, manage risk, and recommend solutions
  • Lead complex client initiatives (e.g., plan changes, implementations), coordinating cross-functional partners to deliver results
  • Contribute to finalist presentations to support retention and new business opportunities by effectively articulating our value proposition and service model
  • Act as the voice of the client internally, ensuring a high-quality and consistent client experience
  • Manage issues and escalations with accountability and sound judgment
  • Contribute to client retention and growth through service excellence, strategic advice, and support for sales activities


What you will bring
  • 6-9 years of experience in the Group Retirement or related financial services industry
  • Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions aligned to client objectives
  • Strong understanding of group retirement products, plan design, and client servicing models
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and influence decision-making
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate client needs into practical solutions
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to identify insights and inform recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, lead initiatives, and work effectively across teams
  • Highly driven, adaptable, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, consultants, and internal partners
  • Group annuity Licence with the AMF
  • Post-secondary education in a related field; industry designations (e.g., CEBS, RPA, CSC) are an asset
  • Willingness to travel as required


The base salary for this position is between $71,900 - $119,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
