Role descriptionAs a Client Partner-Utilities vertical at UST, you are mission-driven to accelerate technology sales architecting high-value, complex solutions that solve a client portfolio's operational and technology challenges. You will blend your experience of consultative selling, technical credibility, and industry expertise to deliver transformative outcomes for leading Utility, Energy and related organizations.
The Opportunity: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the portfolio, including upselling and cross-selling IT services and solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Own P&L, revenue targets and account growth for portfolio within the Utilities vertical.
- Develop account growth strategies aligned with client priorities and UST's capabilities.
- Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and strategic planning efforts.
- Monitor market trends and client needs to proactively recommend innovative solutions.
- Oversee the successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing timely resolution and escalation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with client governance, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across delivery teams
What You Need:- At least 12 years business development experience with at least 5 years Utilities/Energy vertical for IT Consulting/Service provider.
- Deep expertise in one or more core Utilities/Energy domains with business-level understanding of Industry technologies
- Possess a deep network of contacts at the VP/Director/Manager level within Utility, Energy or related ecosystem
- Active relationships within the key Utility partner ecosystems
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $150,000-$225,000
BenefitsFull-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
