Main location: United States, Massachusetts, Burlington
Position ID:J0826-1128
Employment Type: Full Time
Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced and high-performing Client Partner with deep Banking and Financial Services domain expertise. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of account farming, new logo development, consultative selling, CXO relationship management, and large proactive deal origination. Prior experience working with leading financial institutions would be an added advantage, particularly where it includes strong knowledge of the client organization and established relationships with senior business and technology executives.
We are looking for a leader who can leverage relationships within the Massachusetts market and will be fully immersed in the community.
The selected candidate must be based in Metro Boston, Massachusetts.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Account Farming and Growth: Develop and execute account growth strategies across strategic Banking and Financial Services clients. Identify whitespace opportunities, penetrate new buying centers, and systematically grow revenue, bookings, and qualified pipeline.
New Logo Development: Help CGI identify, penetrate, and establish relationships with new strategic Banking and Financial Services clients. Leverage industry relationships and market knowledge to open doors, develop executive-level connections, and convert target prospects into new CGI clients.
CXO and Executive Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with CXO-level and senior business and technology executives. Establish CGI as a trusted strategic partner by developing a deep understanding of client priorities, challenges, investment agendas, and transformation objectives.
Large Proactive Deal Creation: Originate and shape large strategic opportunities rather than relying primarily on client-issued RFPs. Engage executives early, identify business and technology transformation opportunities, develop compelling propositions, and convert them into significant deals.
Banking and Financial Services Leadership: Bring strong domain knowledge and use industry trends, competitive insights, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to create meaningful executive conversations and new business opportunities.
Pipeline and Pursuit Management: Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline across both existing accounts and new logos. Lead strategic pursuits from opportunity identification and qualification through solution shaping, commercial development, negotiation, and closure.
Solution and Proposition Development: Collaborate with CGI business leaders, solution architects, SMEs, delivery teams, and partners to develop differentiated propositions addressing complex client business and technology challenges.
Intercompany Collaboration: Bring the best of CGI to clients by connecting capabilities across consulting, managed services, digital transformation, data and AI, cloud, cybersecurity, application modernization, and CGI intellectual property.
