Full Job Description
Recognizes and identifies strategic issues and research requirements for major new initiatives or markets that the Company is considering for non-organic opportunities.
Analyzes major competitor strategies, and identifies and monitors changing patterns of competition and recommended response.
Acts as a major resource to Company management for instant reaction, medium-term consideration or long term analysis of business issues proffered to the Company.
Keeps current on best practices and academic research papers to identify applications for improvement for Strategic Planning and Development protocols, standards, methodology and procedures.
Oversees all aspects of extremely complex projects, from start to finish, so that it is completed on schedule.
Responds to internal stakeholders' requests for special projects and analyses, and leads guidance and expertise on research matters requested by stakeholders.
Interprets research documentation of a difficult or obscure subject matter, and dissects findings into a perceptible and relatable Company format.
Oversees and guides the work of other Planning personnel on specific tasks and assignments, and serves as a mentor to lower level professional and support staff.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $164,200 to $328,300.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
