Client Experience Consultant - MidAtlantic Market

Join Cigna Healthcare as a Client Experience Consultant, where you will help clients maximize the value of their health benefits programs while strengthening long-term relationships and business outcomes. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Executives and internal experts to deliver strategic guidance, coordinate client solutions, and ensure an exceptional client experience across the full spectrum of Cigna products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Support Middle Market Account Executives in executing strategic client retention and growth initiatives that demonstrate Cigna Healthcare's value proposition.
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with Account Executives and key internal stakeholders to align on client priorities and service strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client goals, challenges, and business needs, coordinating solutions that improve outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of Cigna products and services across Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Behavioral, Clinical, Wellness, and Incentive programs.
  • Leverage subject matter experts and internal resources to address client needs and deliver coordinated solutions.
  • Coordinate operational, health and wellness, and service-related activities that support client objectives and retention efforts.
  • Monitor client issues, drive resolution efforts, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the client experience.
  • Ensure client communications are clear, timely, consistent, and aligned with Cigna's strategy and value proposition.
  • Influence cross-functional partners to deliver on client commitments and operational priorities.
  • Support account planning activities and contribute to long-term client growth, retention, and satisfaction.


Required Qualifications
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, including product knowledge, account management, sales support, or administrative operations.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project coordination capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, solve problems, and deliver client-focused solutions.
  • Must reside within the local market and maintain the ability to commute to a local Cigna office.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required).
  • Knowledge of Cigna funding arrangements, benefits structures, and client platforms.
  • Experience using Salesforce, KnowledgeXchange, or related client management tools.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 66,100 - 110,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
