Full Job Description
About the role

  • The Client Delivery Lead owns engagement health end-to-end.
  • This role is responsible for delivering measurable value to the client. From discovery through solution design to delivery, the Client Delivery Lead owns the end-to-end client experience.
  • Problem definition is owned from the outset. Through structured discovery, a deep understanding of the client's business is developed, the highest-leverage opportunities are identified, and the problems worth solving are clearly defined. Surface-level requests are not accepted at face value. Assumptions are pressure-tested, outcomes clarified, and scope sharpened before execution begins.
  • As the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, complex business challenges are translated into precise technical problem statements, aligned solution paths, and clear success metrics. Engineering understands the why. Stakeholders understand the trade-offs. Everyone is aligned on what success looks like.
  • Disciplined execution is a core expectation. Priorities are set with intention, focus remains on outcomes, ambiguity is managed directly, and course corrections are made when necessary. Accountability is to results, not activity.
  • Success means the client can point to concrete, measurable impact and say: this work materially improved our business.

What You Will Own

Business Problem Definition and Client Leadership

  • Lead structured discovery to deeply understand client goals, constraints, and success metrics.
  • Distinguish between feature requests and real business problems, aligning work to measurable impact.
  • Translate business objectives into clear technical problem statements and aligned solution paths.
  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders, navigating trade-offs and maintaining alignment.
  • You ensure we are building the right thing and that stakeholders are aligned on what success looks like.

Outcome-Driven Delivery

  • Partner with the Technical Architect to shape feasible, scalable solutions.
  • Set priorities, maintain scope clarity, and manage risks proactively.
  • Hold the team accountable to results, not activity.
  • Close engagements with validated business impact.

Operating Discipline

  • Establish clear communication rhythms across client and internal teams.
  • Maintain documentation that ties delivery milestones to outcomes.
  • Operate with strong scope, budget, and margin awareness.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in consulting, product, delivery leadership, or similar outcome-driven environments.
  • Has deep, hands-on expertise in software development with the ability to reason rigorously about complex systems, architecture, and implementation tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated experience owning client engagements where business impact was the measure of success.
  • Experience leading structured discovery and translating ambiguous business problems into clear execution plans.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and navigate tension constructively.
  • Comfort handling scope, feasibility, and trade-off conversations.
  • Ability to align technical teams and business stakeholders around measurable outcomes.
  • Experience delivering AI, data, automation, or modernization initiatives is strongly preferred.

What Strong Performance Looks Like

  • You demonstrate a deep understanding of the problem space and customer landscape.
  • Engineers have clear direction and strong business context.
  • Trade-offs are handled proactively with no surprise escalations.
  • Margin health is stable and well understood.
  • Teams remain focused and unblocked.
  • Communication and documentation are clear and actionable.
  • Projects close with validated, measurable impact.

What This Role is Not

  • Acting as a task coordinator instead of an outcome owner.
  • Reporting milestones without business framing.
  • Letting scope drift to preserve short-term comfort.
  • Closing projects without validating impact.

Benefits and Perks

  • Flexible hours: We are a fully remote company. Work on your schedule-pick up the kids, go to the dentist-you decide when you work.
  • Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and health benefits package, including a Wellness spending account.
  • Continuous learning: Access a dedicated learning budget to deepen your expertise.
  • Time off: It's no secret we all have lives outside of work. Jet off to your favourite spot or just relax with flexible paid vacation days and sick days.
  • Annual team retreat: Once a year, we meet in person to collaborate, reconnect, and reset.
