Job Description & Summary
The Client Coordinator provides operational, administrative and project coordination support to Tax business units, helping client-facing teams deliver consistent, high-quality and risk-aware service. The role acts as a central coordination point across assigned engagements, business units and enabling functions, supporting engagement initiation, documentation, delivery tracking, stakeholder follow-up and process discipline in alignment with PwC's quality, risk and client service expectations.

Engagement administration and onboarding (25%)
  • Complete engagement initiation and onboarding activities, including client roll-forward, KYC, relationship checks, engagement acceptance, engagement letter tracking, job code setup, and required documentation; collect and validate client, contact, billing, scope, fee, and opportunity information to support engagement setup and delivery readiness
  • Maintain accurate client, engagement, and deliverable information across approved firm systems (e.g., Salesforce, iPower, SAP, CCM, SharePoint), and coordinate with Risk & Quality, Finance, Billing, Tax Operations, delivery centres, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of onboarding activities, data integrity, and process consistency

Proposal and pursuit coordination (15%)
  • Support proposal and RFP processes by coordinating timelines, templates, credentials, team biographies, case studies, approvals, formatting, submission requirements, and standard proposal content, while gathering inputs from technical and client-facing teams
  • Track proposal milestones, owners, dependencies, and outstanding items, escalating risks or delays as appropriate, and collaborate with Sales Enablement, Marketing, Creative, Document Production, and other support teams to ensure alignment with firm brand, quality, and standard language requirements

Project management and delivery coordination (25%)
  • Provide project coordination support for high-volume or complex engagements, including workplans, action logs, deliverable trackers, deadline calendars, status updates, and monitoring of assigned and unassigned work, completion status, and potential bottlenecks
  • Prepare and maintain reporting, dashboards, trackers, and progress summaries, while coordinating deliverable readiness, filing and delivery support, document status, access requirements, and follow-up actions, and escalating risks, blockers, capacity constraints, missing information, or process issues as appropriate

Client activity and relationship support (15%)
  • Support client activity coordination, including invitations, RSVP tracking, event follow-up, client research, account updates, relationship support activities, and preparation of client deliverables, emails, attachments, and supporting documentation for review and release
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the Local Office, Acceleration Centre, Tax Operations, business units, and enabling functions to support timely delivery, monitor activities against service levels and deadlines, escalate delays or quality concerns, and uphold PwC independence, risk, quality, and confidentiality requirements

Business unit specific support (10%)
  • Provide flexible support aligned to business unit needs, including onboarding, opportunity tracking, deadline management, delivery coordination, reporting, administrative support, and operational projects or bulk-processing activities such as engagement letter uploads, record creation, questionnaire coordination, tracker updates, and document retrieval
  • Support Tax business units (e.g., International Tax, M&A, Private, SR&ED, Transfer Pricing, US Tax, Indirect Tax, and Network & Industry) by coordinating with global PwC offices, delivery centres, and support teams to manage cross-territory deliverables while balancing national processes with business unit-specific requirements to drive consistency, scalability, and quality

Process improvement and standardization (10%)
  • Document and maintain repeatable processes, checklists, SOPs, and practical guidance to support consistency, onboarding, training, knowledge sharing, and effective execution of recurring activities
  • Drive process improvement and standardization by identifying opportunities to reduce duplication, improve handoffs, increase adoption of firm-approved tools, automation and AI-enabled solutions, and contribute insights to enhance the Client Coordinator support model

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, project coordination, operations or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered

Work Experience
  • Experience in administration, operations, project coordination, client service, Tax Operations, service delivery, billing coordination or a related practice support role is required or strongly preferred. Experience supporting Tax or other professional services teams is preferred

The salary range for this position is $87,700 - $137,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
