The AECOM Government Business Line is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Client Account Sr Manager for the PSPC account.

Client Account Managers are the primary contacts for AECOM's relationships with accounts which are strategically important at a regional, business line or global level. They have responsibility for developing, growing and sustaining our business with their client(s), working across our company to offer solutions that deliver, using all our relevant capabilities and local and global expertise. Bringing the best of AECOM to the client, on time, every time. This is an existing position.

This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and on-site work schedules, that can be based in, but not limited to: Ottawa, Canada office.

Job Summary

Primary contact and leader for AECOM's relationship with one or more large Regional accounts or part of a team supporting the PSPC account. Responsible for developing, growing and sustaining AECOMs business for assigned accounts. Coordinates AECOMs interactions with the client, to ensure consistent high quality of service and to resolve any delivery issues or conflicts.

  • Identifies risks and manages project delivery to mitigate impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to set short and medium term goals and strategies for the account to align with the client's needs.
  • Identifies evolving resourcing needs for client portfolio.

When representing AECOM externally:
  • Recognized by their clients as a primary contact with AECOM.
  • Has strong market and technical knowledge, which is relevant to their client responsibilities.

  • Building a strong network within their Region or Global business line.
  • Demonstrates the ability to influence leadership to ensure their clients' issues are prioritized.

  • Works with Regional Business Line and Market Sector Leaders to identify new business opportunities.
  • Understands and responds to business trends in their area of expertise.
  • Encourages adoption of key AECOM initiatives such as ESG and digitalization.

Client Builder - Has a deep understanding of client priorities and is client-focused, connects team to their vision, ensuring they provide the best AECOM experience every time.

When building client/stakeholder relationships:
  • Is the relationship lead or part of the account management team for one or more of AECOM's strategically important accounts.
  • Has identified and is building a strong relationship with key stakeholders within assigned areas of client responsibility.
  • Takes the initiative to manage AECOM's response where client or project issues are identified.

When building AECOM's reputation:
  • Demonstrates strong leadership attributes that provide role modelling for others.
  • Champion for ethical and safe working practices.
  • Integrates AECOM and client values to positively impact AECOM's wider reputation.

When executing our growth strategy:
  • Drives growth in pipeline of potential projects.
  • Coordinates the capture of significant new business opportunities and the renewal/extension of existing large-scale agreements.
  • Liaises with Market Sector and Regional teams to identify growth opportunities.

When focused on our commercial business:
  • Manages consistent approaches to working with the client.
  • Demonstrates good understand of commercial elements of contracts (financial, legal and governance).
  • Collaborates across Regions and business lines to build consensus on commercial terms.
  • Balances client and AECOM priorities.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or other related discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including at least 2 years of leadership.
  • Extensive experience with large and complex PSPC Program and / or Project Delivery
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual with French language skills
