Full Job Description
Leads those ensuring compliance to governing documents and security policies and assist in regulatory periodic assessments. Implements and tests state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database solutions. Stays current with system vulnerabilities and provides current security training to all system users. Conducts risk assessments and provides recommendations for secure implementation and compliance in accordance with government regulations and information assurance/cybersecurity guidelines. Creates, maintains and submits information system security documents and reports to regulatory agencies. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security documentation; assists with the implementation of security procedures; verifies information system security requirements; performs information system certification and accreditation planning, testing, assessing and liaison activities. Familiar with information system security architectural documentation standards. Able to apply information assurance / cyber security standards, directives, guidance and policies to an architectural/risk based framework. Provide architectural / risk based analysis of information assurance / cyber security features and relate existing system to future needs and trends and requirements. For engineers providing security information assurance, use Info Assurance Engineer (E254, L254). For security professionals providing systems security analysis, use Computer Systems Security Analysis (E121, L121). Basic Qualifications The Classified Cybersecurity Senior Manager (Sr Mgr) will own the US Air Force (USAF) F-35 Sustainment cybersecurity portfolio. This role will lead a geographically dispersed cybersecurity team of Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) and Information System Security Officers (ISSO) that support a broad set of classified and unclassified F-35 systems across multiple USAF customer sites in the CONUS, Alaska, Japan, and the UK. The role is hybrid telework and requires regular travel. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 34 Strategic Portfolio Leadership35 - Define and execute the cybersecurity strategy for the F-35 USAF sustainment portfolio, aligning with DoD, SAP and F-35 cybersecurity requirements. Develop portfolio-level cybersecurity metrics, KPI dashboards, and executive-level reporting. 34 Team Management & Development35 - Recruit, mentor, and retain cybersecurity staff; establish clear performance metrics, career-pathing, and training programs. 34 Customer & Stakeholder Engagement35 - Act as the senior technical liaison for F-35 USAF and Joint Program Office (JPO) sustainment customers; provide briefings, status reports, and risk assessments to senior leadership and program managers. 34 Audit & Inspection Readiness35 - Drive internal, and customer inspection results; conduct self-inspections and track corrective actions. 34 Final Transferable Secret security clearance; last Periodic Reinvestigation must be within the last five (5) years or enrollment in Continuous Vetting program. 34 Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access. 34 Possess a valid certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01-M IAM III requirements. 34 Prior experience in a cyber workforce role, as categorized by the NICE or DoD workforce frameworks. Desired Skills 34 F-35 Program Exposure35 - Prior experience as an ISSO, ISSM, or equivalent DoD cyber-workforce role on one or more F-35 information systems. 34 RMF & Authorization Expertise35 - Demonstrated success managing the full RMF lifecycle (SSP, POA&M, SCTM, CONOPs, SOPs) for classified systems. 34 Regulatory Knowledge35 - Deep familiarity with DoDI 8510.01, JSIG, DoDM 5205.07, NIST SP 800- series, and SAP governance. 34 Leadership of Distributed Teams35 - Proven ability to lead large, multi-site cybersecurity teams across different time zones and cultural environments. 34 Strategic Customer Relationship Management35 - Experience interfacing with senior internal and external stakeholders, program managers, and contractors to align cybersecurity objectives with mission outcomes. 34 Advanced Analytical Skills35 - Ability to synthesize large volumes of security event data, conduct trend analysis, and produce concise, high-impact executive briefings. 34 Communication35 - Excellent written and oral communication skills; capable of producing clear technical documentation and delivering persuasive presentations to senior leadership. 34 Continuous Improvement Mindset35 - Track record of implementing process improvements, automation, and emerging-technology integrations to enhance security posture. 34 Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $158700.00 - $294700.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. 34 For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
