Claims Compliance Analyst (Workers Compensation)- Location: USA -Madison, WI

The OpportunityThe Compliance Analyst ensures adherence to regulatory requirements impacting Workers' Compensation and Professional Liability claims through ongoing monitoring, assessment, and implementation of required actions. The role maintains key regulatory resources, communicates changes to stakeholders, and partners with cross-functional teams to support compliant processes and documentation. Responsibilities include facilitating regulatory examinations and managing required reporting and data submissions. The position also conducts compliance-focused audits and oversees critical federal and state reporting obligations.
Your new roleResponsibilities:- Assist in engaging with the business for the strategic direction of claims management practices.
- Maintain high knowledge and expertise through training and industry networks.
- Demonstrate compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Act as an internal escalation point for customer communication and engagement.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide feedback to claims teams.
- Assist in the analysis and reporting of results and trends.
- Ensure audits, analyses, and reports are completed to a high standard and on time.
- Provide coaching to individuals based on review outcomes.
- Monitor and implement improvement plans for performance management.
- Follow up on timely completion of action items from audits and health checks.
Work Experience:Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Some relevant work experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Some experience in Workers' Remuneration.
- Proven track record as a performer.
- Experience in file reviews and/or audit.
- Experience in coaching/training and providing feedback based on reports and data analysis.
Qualifications:Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, commerce or equivalent.
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
