Raytheon is looking for a Senior Finance Manager supporting the Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) portfolio within the Naval Systems & Sustainment (NSS) Product Area of the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit. The CIWS portfolio includes four main program areas: the Naval Phalanx & SeaRAM, the Army Land Based Phalanx Weapon System and the Advanced Program CRDC (CIWS RAM Development Capability). This program area projects an average of $0.4B in revenue per year with opportunities to exceed those numbers across several new pursuits and international customers. The CIWS program portfolio provides exposure to development, production, and sustainment programs, cost-type and FFP contracts, and domestic and international customers. Additionally, this position will lead a team of five finance professionals.

You will be responsible for managing the CIWS financial planning and analysis, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), investments, program controls and related portfolio strategies. This role will work closely with the CIWS program director, program managers, and collaborate cross-functionally, with frequent presentations to NSS, NP leadership and Raytheon leadership as needed.

This role is being posted as hybrid and is based on the needs of the business. The Program/team are predominantly located in Massachusetts, Alabama, and Arizona. The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to MA, AL, or AZ for onsite work. Some travel may be required.

What You Will Do
  • You will be accountable for financial oversight of the CIWS portfolio, with contracts spanning development, production, and sustainment phases
  • This position requires proactive leadership and significant interaction with the Program Managers, Contracts, Requirements & Capabilities, Supply Chain, and others, to ensure alignment regarding strategic, operating, and financial objectives
  • You will ensure compliance with required Estimates at Complete (EACs), monthly LREs, provide recommendations to ensure FP&A commitments are met/exceeded (monthly forecasts / Long Range Plan / Annual Operating Plan), overhead oversight, and new business investment
  • Support Program Area Reviews, Proposals, Strategy Updates and Ad Hoc Analysis
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities across multiple teams throughout the United States


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • Experience presenting data to senior leaders.
  • Experience with managing cross-functionally.
  • Experience with Program Controls and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
