Full Job Description
Entellus, Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer to join our Land Development team in Phoenix, Arizona.

Entellus currently has many exciting projects underway, and we are looking for a full-time Senior Designer with strong technical ability, good communication skills, and enthusiasm to join our growing team. This position will require you to work with other engineers, project managers, and technical staff to produce design plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for projects including residential subdivisions, master planned communities, mixed use, education, healthcare, and commercial/retail projects.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Layout and Design residential subdivisions both stand-alone and within master planned communities, mixed-use developments, commercial/retail projects, etc.
  • Design work will include, but not limited to, paving, grading, drainage, water, and sewer design
  • May assign the final drafting/plan production to other drafters or draft/generate or may draft/generate the plans for oneself.
  • Prepares engineering calculations in support of infrastructure design
  • Review and apply design standards established by all agencies involved in each project.
  • Ability to work within the scope, schedule, and budget assigned to each project.
  • Prepare hour estimates in support of project pursuits
  • Manage and mentor designers or drafters.
  • Assign designers or drafters work, answer questions, mentor, and check for quality and accuracy as needed.


Skills/Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in design and plan production for residential land development projects and general land development type projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D design and plan production tools.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams.
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with team and clients.
  • Strong land development Civil 3D modeling and plan production tools.
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, team player, and self-starter.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment to prioritize various projects.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if required.

Salary Range is $85,000 - $105,000 (+ Paid for every hour worked, Bonus, and 401 (k) profit share).
