JOB DESCRIPTION

Civil Investigator

Civil Investigator will perform professional investigations to clarity/verify facts and communicate with landowners both verbally and in written format.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Civil Investigator: $90,000 to $101,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

 

Civil Investigator Responsibilities Include:

· Provides professional investigations to clarity/verify facts.

· Review correspondence and guidance for the Border Fence Project.

· Be able to understand the Right’s of entry for government condemnation matters.

· Effectively communicate with landowners both verbally and in written format.

· Prepare individual Border Fence Project files.

· Prepare correspondence for assigned Border Fence Project actions.

· Makes assessment and provide written reports/analysis of information.

· Perform any task pertaining to the Border Fence Project program.

· Serves as an English/Spanish interpreter/translator.

· Travels in support of investigation.

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned

 

Civil Investigator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

· Fifteen years law enforcement experience (preferred federal law experience).

· Experience in condemnation and working on complex investigations preferred.

· Foreign language skills are required (English-Spanish)

· Significant experience in testifying in court

· Must have above average written and oral communication skills
